#122MM/LA INSTALL "Low Profile/Low Drag" INNER GEAR DOORS
(For Most All Electric Gear Equipped M20's) 

"Low Profile/Low Drag" Inner Gear Door Mods Are Available For
Most OEM Stock "2 Door" M20 Such As:  M20B,C,D,E,F,G,J,K/231,PFM/L, etc. 

Note:  It is not intended for later models which already have an OEM   "third" (205/252 style) inner gear door and no rear teardrop faring on the wing.

This door requires the Royalite Teardrop faring behind the door on wing bottom and exhibits about  twice the drag when retracted as our "Low Profile" Doors

Our improved "Low Drag" door allows for a hidden or "rotated" brake puck assy. resulting in a door which has nearly no drag when retracted.

#122MM/LA INSTALL "Low Profile Low Drag" INNER GEAR DOORS: 
This mod removes the stock "bubble" doors which utilize the large drag producing teardrop (Royalite) fairing located on the wing bottom, and requires the break pucks to be rotated while replacing the older doors with "205 style" flat inner gear doors.   With the brake pucks reversed the doors are much flatter when retracted which presents a far more streamlined gear closure presentation. While the aerodynamic streamlining of this mod also reduces the working load on the gear motor/transmission in transit while .  This mod is good for 2-4 MPH gain at cruise as well. Price includes rotating brake pucks to create a lower profile and less drag.
