When Posting Notices:
All members & participants responding or posting to our MOONEY HANGAR TALK Professionally Moderated Forum are asked to place one (or more) of the following 9 areas (or titles) in opening comments or the "Subject Line" of their E Mail transmissions or postings. This is necessary to assist our editors and moderators in placing them in the appropriate section(s) listed for retrieval and/or notice to all other members.

Following these simple directions will help eliminate annoying "Junk" E mail and will make this forum immensely useful and concise for us all.

Forum Confidentiality And Responsibility Policies & ProceduresThis group is an independent forum/group ostensibly owing no allegiance to any commercial organization. It is being hosted by Mooney Mart, but is moderated by several world wide Mooney Owners and Enthusiasts. All notices posted should be submitted in a responsible manner and customarily will include the sender's e-mail address and/or member number when posted. They will not customarily contain exact addresses or phone numbers unless you publish them within the body of your notice and/or request same to be published. Any other personal identification that the member (voluntarily) places within the "body" of their text (such as names and/or "N numbers") is being done so at the sole responsibility of the member or poster of the notice.

Upon your specific request however, and at the moderator's discretion, your e-mail address and/or specific identification (full name etc.) may be withheld from a specific posting.

Important Notes: For security and potential liability reasons, Hangar Talk sponsors and/or the moderators will keep such on record, but not reveal same to any other members without the specific member's express written or e-mail permission without (understandably) an appropriate court order. Moderators and/or sponsors may require members sign a binding contractual guaranty whereas the member assumes full responsibility for such postings pledging that they will defend said moderators and/or sponsors for any liability incurred for publishing the posting(s) in question.

Should the moderators elect that individual postings are not in keeping with the objectives of this group, they may reject specific postings unless the member elects to grant permission to provide e-mail address, partial ID's, and/or member number etc.

You will receive such decision prior to posting however, so at that time it would be your your decision whether to proceed with posting that specific notice in the usual (poster e-mail identifiable) manner. Such decisions are made solely by the appropriate moderators when taking into consideration the prevailing legal and moral climate with the overall good of the group as the prime consideration on a case by case basis.

Every reasonable effort however, will be made to accommodate individual members expressing good common sense reasoning when requesting their postings be published. Commercial organizations may be given the opportunity to reply alongside any unflattering postings and their responses (or lack of willingness to provide same) may be posted accordingly.

6) Mooney Marketplace and Industry News Generally contributed by those who find themselves "in the know" about Mooney stuff 'n things which may or will affect us all. (Names can be withheld, upon request and at the moderators discretion)

7) Squawk and Kudo "Squawk Talk Box" This is a highly effective and widely visible independent channel to communicate with all Mooney owners and Mooniacs world wide with both laudable and sometimes even not so favorable Mooney ownership and/or flying related experiences, or places you have visited with your Mooney.
Squawk Notes: For obvious liability and accuracy reasons, certain common sense rules may apply when posting unmistakably negative or unfavorable comments, especially when relative to any commercial establishments. All such postings and/or comments must clearly be accountable, identifiable, and reasonably justifiable. All such "unflattering" postings shall be posted with the overall good of the forum group (or Mooney owners) being paramount. Hangar Talk Forum Members may request a copy of HT moderator's policies and procedures which may include provisions for commercial establishments to offer their reply(s) (or lack of a willingness to do so), to be posted along with said members unfavorable postings and notices.

(Of course, you need a catch all. This is it.)
